Daniel Beaty's one-man-show Through the Night will play its final performance on December 5 at off-Broadway's Union Square Theatre. The show will have played 15 preview performances and 70 regular performances since its September 26 opening, directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.
Through the Night follows six different characters (all played by Beaty) as they confront life changing predicaments all on the same evening. The characters, whose lives frequently interact, include an elderly preacher, his career driven son, a recent high school graduate readying for college, an ex-con awaiting the birth of his first child, a health foods store owner and his young son.
